Looking for strong ground coffee? This darker-roasted blend of Hondurian, Brazilian and Vietnamiese beans delivers a strong and pungent coffee in the continental style. Inspired by busy and bustling afternoons in Portugals capital city. This continetal style coffee whisks me away to afternoon espresso drinking in the heat of central Lisbon. I find it the perfect way to end the afternoon or as is often the case to keep going until sunrise.

Like all our Freshly Ground Coffees the strong blend is 100% Rain Forrest Alliance so we can rest assured that we are doing our small part for the planet.

The roasting process: all our coffees are roasted in a Brazilian Lilla 125 kilo roasting machine which is designed to produce batch after batch of very consistently roasted coffee. Each batch takes about 12 minutes to roast, at temperatures around 200 degrees C,  and the beans are then cooled by air for several minutes before grinding and packing.
